Nokia Lumia 920 Sim Card Ways Sim Ic Jumper Solution
This solution applies to Nokia Lumia 920. Insert SIM card problem can occur in these phones in case of damaged SIM connector.
So first of all you should check if the SIM Connector in Nokia 920 is busted and replace it. If that is not the case then you have to replace the SIM IC placed near the SIM Jacket. I have marked the the SIM IC in the following diagram.

The Sim card supply voltage (VSIM) were most often breakdown when the nokia e63 suffered water damaged, for this is the line voltage and cause short circuit. You may first trace that line paths from the power supply IC.
Trace each corresponding SIM card pin connector to the capacitors connected to it and also the ground pins.
Apply a jumper wire if there is a line paths open or cut, its the only option.
