Here’s the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini I8200 Power ON and OFF key line spot for jumpering solution. This solution can help fix Samsung GT-I8200 that shows charging indication when the battery charger is plug-in but it does not turns ON when the power key is being pressed.
The Power ON/OFF key is isolated and not connected to other group of key connection for it only holds for switching or powering up the device. There is an open spots near the keypad filter IC that the power ON and OFF key can be connected when the power key fails or or if the line is cut or open.
The two upper or legs of the power switch is connected to the PCB’s ground lines.
The other two which is in lower is the power switch line paths, just locate the test spots as shown on the solution above where to apply a jumper to reconnect it connection.
