Here’s the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo I9301I Solution for Not Charging Problem on the USB pin connector. This may help if the phone suffered wet damaged and resulted to no charging indication when the wall charger is plug-in.
Before proceeding, ensure that the battery and the battery charger are in good working condition.
– Check all the components shown on the image below, you may start by checking the USB pin connector.
– Then the fuse, diode, capacitors and filter coil for possible open or short circuit.
– Trace each of the connection line paths from USB pins down to the components where it is directly connected.
After removing body of your Samsung GT-I9301I, the very first thing that you need to do is to re-solder the charging connector and check.
Now check all Track ways marked in above image.
The next thing that you need to do is to check connector of charging dock, clean the charging dock. If it is still faulty even after cleaning then change the entire charging dock.
Now check on-board connector, clean and re-solder it.
Now finally check Charging IC, gently heat it and check. If heating doesn’t do any good then replace Charging IC and check.
